You are invited to attend a hands-on seminar on Sat. October 28^th, 2000 at the Whittier school of Kung Fu San Soo. These seminars present the instructors’ approach on subjects that have become points of interest. Learn how to improve your personal training by applying the methods taught at the seminar. In this way, we can pass on the art brought to us by:

Master Voelker will explain different ways to handle the Cha. The Cha is a Chinese weapon used to defend oneself against armed or unarmed opponents. In this seminar, he will give you a demonstration of the weapon used in a form. You will be taught some basic knowledge in the application of these knives and how to apply them in the form demonstrated.

Michael has been asked to give some Staff fighting techniques. He will continue right where he left off at the last seminar. The Staff has been used in demonstrations for the purpose of doing show forms, but the focus of this seminar will be actual combat. Learn techniques that will help you understand real application and perform a San Soo fighting form with the Staff.

Master Meza will demonstrate what a San Soo fighter needs to know when someone tries to take you down. Learning how to deal with wrestlers and grapplers is on a lot of minds, but you will learn just how effective San Soo is in the real application of this devastating art.

You will learn how limited those arts really are and why our art is the only art that doesn't need to cross train. Arm and leg bars, choke-outs and grappling have always been a part of this art, but never at the basic level of anything that takes more then a few seconds to pull off. You will learn the mindset behind Dap Ga Kung Fu San Soo and it's martial art application.
