Master Scott Voelker - Application of our Fighting Stances. Scott will cover some of our stances and the proper ways of using them, which will make you more effective. The angles of your stances in reference to your opponent and the correct footwork to use when gaining better positioning will be of real interest to anyone who would like to improve his odds against any disadvantage. Proper positioning where you will add more leverage to your throws and become even more effective in real street application will be covered. Scott's perspective will help you understand the importance of standing in a fighting stance and not just standing in a stance.
J. Michael Rockwell - 6th Degree Black Belt - Sword Form. Michael received his black belt from Lo Sifu Chin Siu Dek in 1983. He is an international forms champion and anyone interested in adding more concepts to their sword form will be interested in the details he will cover. The form will be the same sword form taught at the last seminar with more fine points added. You will learn where and when to place more emphasis and how to use the correct timing and cadence. This will give you a better understanding on how to become more effective in your overall delivery. Show form and fighting form application will also be covered and a double sword from will be demonstrated.
Master Juan M. Meza - Slapping. Juan will show you exactly how devastating and effective a slap to your opponent can be and the proper ways you can use this tool. Why would you slap? When would you slap? How would you slap? You will learn how autonomics works. Why a slap is so effective and reasons you might consider this as a tool to be added to your arsenal.
